Seyi has been hospitalized for a rare strand of Strep. It began in her throat and made its way up her spinal cord where it attacked her brain. She has been in a medically induced coma as they fight to bring her fever down. They lost her once, and because it took them a while to get her back she suffered some brain damage. Then about a week and a half later she suffered a stroke on the left side of her brain. The medical staff started to slowly reduce her medicine to bring her out of the coma. Last week they moved Seyi out of the ICU and into a regular hospital bed. She has began to kick her legs and say small words, but she will need recovery therapy.
